About this product
The XD-M Elite 4.5 inch OSP in 10mm puts the full power cartridge in Springfield's top polymer frame pistol. The Desert FDE frame and Cerakote slide give it a desert tan look, and the magazines hold 16 rounds each; two come in the box. The barrel is hammer forged steel with a black Melonite finish.
The Elite part is the META trigger, Springfield's Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly, with a flat face, a crisp break and an integral overtravel stop. The slide is milled for an optic from the factory, with an RMR/SRO footprint for a red dot. Sights are a fiber optic front and a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear that lets you rack the slide one handed off a belt or table. An extended, removable flared magwell speeds reloads, and you also get an ambidextrous slide stop, larger slide serrations, a grip safety and interchangeable backstraps. It weighs 31 ounces.
