Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin 10mm 5" 8rd Two-Tone Pistol

The 1911 Ronin in 10mm is a full size, 5" 1911 built on forged parts. The frame is forged stainless steel, the slide is forged carbon steel with a hot salt blue, and the barrel is a hammer forged stainless match grade unit. The result is a classic two-tone look, with a steel frame that has the heft to tame 10mm recoil. Capacity is 8 rounds, and one magazine is included.

Springfield kept the controls modern without losing the old school feel. The enhanced grip safety has a beavertail and a raised memory bump for a positive press, the ejection port is lowered and flared, and the skeletonized Gen 2 Speed Trigger gives a clean single action break. Sights are a fiber optic front over a Tactical Rack white dot rear, so the slide can be racked one handed off a belt or table edge. Crossed Cannon checkered wood grips finish it off, and it runs a GI style recoil system with no proprietary guide rod to deal with. At about 40 oz unloaded, it is a 1911 you can actually shoot well in 10mm, at the range or in the woods.
