Taylor's 1886 Journey 45-70 Govt 19" 5rd Camo Rifle

The Taylor's 1886 Journey is a modernized 1886 lever action in 45-70 Government, built by Pedersoli. It pairs a 19" barrel threaded 5/8-24 with a 5 round tubular magazine, a black Cerakote receiver and parts, and a camo synthetic stock and forend. The stock adjusts both vertically and horizontally at the cheek, and a rubber buttplate takes the edge off heavy loads. Weight is 7.71 lbs and overall length is 37.44".

Up top, an integrated Picatinny rail carries an adjustable rear sight, and a fiber optic front sight sits at the muzzle, so the rifle is ready to shoot with irons or take a scope or red dot on the rail. The loading lever has a larger loop that works with gloves, a tang safety sits behind the hammer, and sling swivels are installed. The threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor. Everything about the Journey points it at hunting: weatherproof finishes, a short handy barrel and a cartridge that has been taking elk, moose and bear for well over a century. It keeps the strength of the 1886 action while dropping the walnut and blueing for gear that does not mind rain.
