Taurus Pt 1911 45 Acp 5 inch 8 Round Stainless Steel

The Taurus 1911 Pistol in stainless steel brings classic 1911 ergonomics and modern manufacturing to shooters who want a hard-hitting .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel and full-size frame, and you'll appreciate that Taurus builds this PT-1911 series from hammer-forged, ordnance-grade steel—frames, slides and barrels—hand-fit by skilled pistolsmiths for a rock-solid feel right out of the box. With a single-action hammer system, beavertail grip safety with memory pad, manual thumb safety and an internal firing pin block, this 45 Auto balances shootability and layered safety for range sessions, competition stages where consistent lockup and trigger reset matter, and home or duty use where confident handling is critical; Novak drift-adjustable front and rear sights and a 5.00-inch barrel deliver sight radius and accuracy, while the matte stainless finish and checkered black grip give durable corrosion resistance and a firm purchase under recoil. Weighing roughly 42 oz with an 8+1 capacity, 8-round magazines fit the traditional commander-style profile, and because this is a centerfire handgun the transaction requires an FFL transfer. If you want a service-weight 1911 with period-correct controls and modern safety features from Taurus, this stainless 1911 is built to perform.
