About the Volquartsen Summit 22 LR
This is the serialized heart of the Volquartsen Summit: the receiver and bolt, sold together so you can build your own Summit 22 LR bolt gun around them. The receiver is CNC machined from black anodized aluminum and has an integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail on top, which gives a scope plenty of built in elevation for longer rimfire shots.
The Summit is Volquartsen's straight pull bolt action rimfire, the rifle they build for competition and small game alike. Buying the receiver and bolt lets you choose your own barrel, stock and trigger instead of taking a factory configuration. Barrel installation is covered by Volquartsen's own instructions for the Summit receiver. Weight for the pair is about 1 lb 4 oz.
