Faxon Firearms FF-22 Receiver Kit for Ruger 10/22

The Faxon FF-22 is a serialized receiver for the Ruger 10/22 pattern, built to start a custom 22 LR rifle or to replace the receiver on an existing one. It is a direct replacement for the factory non-takedown 10/22 receiver and works with Ruger 10/22 non-takedown parts, every Faxon rimfire barrel for the 10/22, most aftermarket chassis and many aftermarket barrels and internals made for non-takedown receivers.

The receiver is machined from a billet of aluminum and finished in black hard coat anodize. A 0 MOA Picatinny rail is machined into the top and runs longer than the rail on a factory 10/22 receiver, so a scope or red dot mounts without a separate base. The kit includes a chromoly steel V-block with its screws, which hold the barrel to the receiver, and a rubber bolt buffer that cushions the bolt at the rear of its travel. To finish a rifle you still need a barrel, bolt assembly, trigger group, charging handle and a stock or chassis, either Ruger parts or aftermarket ones built to the non-takedown pattern.
