Kimber 1911 DS Warrior LS 10mm 6" 18rd Pistol

The long slide version of Kimber's 1911 DS Warrior stretches the barrel to 6". That extra inch changes the way the gun handles more than the number suggests: more weight out front, a slower recoil impulse, and a muzzle that comes back down on its own. In 10mm, where recoil is genuinely stout, the long slide is doing real work rather than just looking the part.

Everything else follows the DS Warrior formula. The frame is black stainless steel with a beavertail and a Picatinny rail, the grip panel is carbon fiber, and the slide is optic cut under a TAG cover plate with a night sight up front. Kimber hand fits each pistol. The barrel is matte stainless and crowned. Two magazines come with it, one 15 round and one 18 round, along with a C&H mount for RMR pattern optics. An ambidextrous thumb safety and a match grade trigger round out the controls. Between the 6" barrel and the 10mm chambering, this one leans toward field use, where the extra speed the longer barrel gives the cartridge and the flatter arc downrange actually change what the pistol can do.
