Springfield Armory Echelon Alpha 4.0C 9mm 4" 15rd Two Tone Tan Pistol

Springfield built the Echelon around a serialized chassis it calls the Central Operating Group, and the Alpha 4.0C is the compact configuration of that system. The gun in the hand is a grip module and a slide wrapped around that chassis, which is why the platform can change size later without changing the serial number on the paperwork. This one is finished two tone, a tan frame under a darker slide instead of the usual all black.

Sights are Springfield's U-Dot system, a wide rear notch paired with a front dot that lines up fast when the hands are moving. The slide is cut for the Variable Interface System, a pattern of threaded holes and locating pins that lets most current red dots mount directly with no adapter plate stacking height onto the gun. Barrel length is 4", which sits between a duty gun and something that will actually ride on a belt all day without being noticed. The grip carries Springfield's adaptive texture, which bites harder the tighter the hand closes and stays comfortable when it does not. One 15 round magazine comes with the pistol.
