Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C 9mm 4" 15rd ODG Gear Pac Pistol

Fifteen rounds in a compact 9mm used to mean a chunky grip. The Echelon 4.0C gets there with a frame that still tucks under a cover garment, because Springfield kept the duty gun's internals and shortened the package around them. The Central Operating Group is the serialized part, so the grip module and slide are components you can swap rather than a fixed frame you are stuck with.

The slide is cut for the Variable Interface System, which takes most modern red dot footprints directly with no plate underneath, and that lower mounting height keeps the dot closer to the bore. Tritium U-Dot irons back it up in poor light. Olive drab green Cerakote covers the slide and frame, a welcome change from another black pistol on the rack. The barrel measures 4", the frame carries a Picatinny rail and adaptive texture, and the controls work from either side. This is the Gear Pac version with a 15 round magazine capacity, which splits the difference between the restricted state 10 round guns and the full 18 round build.
