The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0 FC is a modular striker-fired 9mm Luger semi-auto that pairs a 4" barrel with the Full Compact grip frame, giving shooters a duty-capable pistol in a carry-friendly footprint.
The Echelon is built on Springfield's Central Operating Group, a serialized fire control chassis that drops into interchangeable grip modules so the shooter can change slide length, grip size, and configuration without gunsmithing. The optic-ready slide uses Springfield's Variable Interface System (VIS) to mount red dots directly without adapter plates, eliminating the stack height that adds to bore offset. Aggressive frame texturing, a flat-face trigger, and a Picatinny accessory rail round out a pistol aimed squarely at the duty and everyday-carry market.
This standard-capacity configuration ships with two 17-round magazines. Transfer through a licensed dealer is required at time of purchase.
