Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 9mm 4.87" 23rd Copper Comp Pistol

Smith & Wesson's Performance Center took the M&P9 M2.0 and built this one around a single goal: keeping the sights flat through recoil. A Strike Industries compensator threads onto the barrel and vents gas upward, pushing the muzzle down against the rise. The result is noticeably less movement between shots than a standard M2.0, and it shows up on a timer rather than only in the marketing. Barrel and compensator both wear a copper PVD finish against the black slide and frame, which is where this TALO exclusive gets its look.

The slide is cut for a red dot and the front sight is a night sight, so the irons still work if the dot goes dark. The trigger is the Performance Center flat face unit with shorter take up and a cleaner break than the standard M2.0 trigger. Four magazines come in the case, two standard 17 round mags and two 23 round mags, and the gun uses the same interchangeable palmswell grip inserts as every other M2.0. Between the compensator, the optic cut and the magazine count, it arrives set up for a match or a range day with nothing left to add.
