Smith & Wesson PC Shield X Carry Comp 9mm 3.6" 15rd Midnight Bronze Pistol

Smith & Wesson's Performance Center took the M&P Shield X and cut a PowerPort into the barrel and slide. Gas bleeds up through that port as the bullet passes, pushing the muzzle down instead of letting it climb, and the result is a carry gun that tracks flatter shot to shot than a 3.6 inch barrel has any right to. Aggressive serrations run the front and rear of the slide, so racking it works even with a wet or gloved hand, and the magazine catch reverses for left hand shooters.

The grip is longer than the original Shield, which is where the 13 and 15 round magazines come from, and both are included. A flat plane optic cut takes RMSc and RMS-K footprint sights directly with no plate stack, and there is a short rail ahead of the trigger guard for a compact light. A manual thumb safety sits on the left side for shooters who want one. The Midnight Bronze finish is a clear departure from standard black without going loud about it. Striker fired, 9mm, and thin enough to disappear under a shirt while still handing you a full firing grip.
