Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X 9mm 3.6" 15rd Blue Titanium Pistol

The Shield X is Smith & Wesson's answer to the question of how much gun fits in a carry package. It stretches the Shield grip long enough to hold 13rd flush or 15rd with the longer magazine, and both magazines come with the pistol, while keeping the 3.6" barrel and slim slide that made the Shield line work for concealment in the first place. The slide carries aggressive front and rear serrations, so racking it works with wet hands, gloves, or a support hand pressed against a belt.

Up top is a flat plane optic cut for RMSc and K pattern micro red dots, using the ClearSight design that routes gas away from the lens so the dot does not haze over during a long string of fire. There is a rail up front for a compact light, a reversible magazine catch for left hand shooters, and a thumb safety for anyone who wants one. This one wears a blue titanium finish, a real departure from the standard black slide, over a polymer frame. Striker fired, 9mm, and sized to disappear under a shirt while still carrying a duty pistol's worth of ammunition.
