Smith & Wesson built the M&P M2.0 Full Size in 10mm Auto for shooters who want more energy on target than a 9mm without stepping up to a big bore revolver. The 4.6" stainless barrel handles full power loads, and the added slide mass keeps the recoil impulse from feeling sharp. The slide is cut for optics through the S&W C.O.R.E. system, so most micro red dots mount with the correct plate.
