About the Sig Sauer M18 9mm
The M18 is the compact half of the military's Modular Handgun System, and the commercial gun is built to the same pattern the services carry. RSR lists the finish as coyote PVD. SIGLITE night sights sit up front, and a removable rear plate covers the optic cut so a DeltaPoint Pro footprint red dot can go on without cutting anything.
Underneath the coyote it is a P320. The serialized fire control unit lifts out of the grip module, which is what lets you change the size and feel of the gun without buying another firearm. The trigger on this model has a curved face and a striker fired break, and there is an M1913 rail forward of the trigger guard for a light. The 3.9" barrel puts it between the full size M17 and a true pocket gun, a size that works for duty carry and for anyone carrying outside the waistband. This is the Massachusetts compliant configuration with a manual safety and a 10 round magazine.
