The Savage 93R17 BTVSS brings the trusted 93 series into the 17 HMR market with a bolt-action platform built for accuracy and field use, combining Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a crisp, personalized trigger pull with a 21-inch heavy button-rifled stainless steel barrel and 1:9" twist to drive lightweight 17 HMR rounds on point for longer varmint shots and precision range work. The wood laminate stock with a custom thumbhole gives a solid, repeatable cheek weld and comfortable control for extended sits or target strings while the stainless receiver and metal finish resist corrosion in damp environments; the rifle's 5+1 capacity via a detachable box magazine and right-hand bolt layout keep follow-up shots quick without sacrificing balance, and the thumb safety offers intuitive control at the shot. At about 7.25 lbs and a 40" overall length, this model is easy to carry into thick grass or climb into stands, and the 93R17 BTVSS's combination of heavy barrel harmonics, laminate thumbhole ergonomics, and AccuTrigger makes it well suited to varmint hunting, small game dispatch, and serious plinking.
