The Ruger American Rimfire in 17 HMR pairs a 16" cold hammer-forged threaded barrel with a flat dark earth synthetic stock, giving small-game hunters and rimfire shooters a trim package that handles suppressors and flat-shooting varmint loads. The 1/2-28 threaded muzzle opens the door to cans and compensators without aftermarket work. A 9-round rotary magazine feeds flush with the stock, and the Power Bedding integral bedding block lets the free-floating barrel do its job.

Ruger's Marksman Adjustable trigger breaks from 3 to 5 pounds with a crisp pull, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a factory Picatinny rail for quick optic mounting.
