About this product

The Tikka T1x MTR in 17 HMR is a fast, flat shooting rimfire for varmints and small game, and this one is built for left handed shooters. The 20" cold hammer forged barrel is threaded 1/2-28 and has a 1:9 twist for the light 17 caliber bullets. The bolt is on the left side where a lefty wants it.

The modular black synthetic stock has an interchangeable pistol grip for adjusting grip angle and an extra fore end attachment point that lets you widen the fore end. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and the rifle feeds from a 10 round detachable magazine. A single stage trigger and two position safety keep the controls simple. The 17 HMR reaches out farther than a 22 LR with less wind drift, which makes it a favorite for ground squirrels, prairie dogs and close range coyotes.
