Ruger Vaquero 357 Mag 4.62" 6rd Revolver

The Vaquero is Ruger's take on the Old West single action, built on the medium frame with the look and feel of the originals and none of the old worries. A transfer bar and loading gate interlock mean you can carry six in the cylinder, something you never did with a classic Colt pattern. This one is chambered in 357 Magnum, so it also shoots 38 Special for light practice loads, and wears a 4.62" cold hammer forged barrel with a blued barrel, cylinder and frame and hardwood grips.

The traditional plow handle grip is one of the most natural pointing shapes ever put on a handgun, and the beveled cylinder slides in and out of a holster easily. Ruger's reverse indexing pawl makes loading and unloading through the gate faster, and the crescent shaped ejector rod head is a nod to the original guns. Sights are a blade front and an integral notch rear, fixed and snag free. It weighs 43 oz and measures 10.25" overall.
