Ruger RXM 9mm 4" 17rd Aimpoint COA Pistol

Ruger's RXM already answered the question of what a Glock 19 sized pistol looks like when Magpul designs the grip. The COA Edition answers the next one: what if the red dot came on it. An Aimpoint COA is mounted at the factory into an A-CUT pocket cut directly into the slide, which removes the plate that most optic ready pistols rely on and takes a common failure point out of the stack. The emitter is enclosed, so the window cannot be blocked by lint, snow or a drop of rain.

The rest is standard RXM, which is to say the serialized piece is a steel chassis that lifts out of the grip module rather than the frame itself. Owners can move to a different grip size or color without buying another gun. This one is black on black, with a black Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip under a black slide. The barrel measures 4", capacity is 17rd, and two Magpul PMAG 17 GL9 magazines come in the box. Steel co-witness height sights give a backup aiming reference through the optic window. Controls are the ones most shooters already know, the trigger is flat faced, and the dust cover carries an accessory rail for a light. Magazines are Glock 19 pattern, so spares and holsters are everywhere.
