Ruger Hawkeye African 375 Ruger 23 inch 3 Round Satin Blued Walnut

The Ruger Hawkeye African Full Size 375 Ruger blends traditional Mauser-style controlled round feed with modern Ruger engineering to deliver a bolt-action hunting rifle built for heavy-bore game and long days in the field; the 23" cold hammer-forged, 1:12" RH twist barrel with 5/8"-28 threading accepts the included Ruger Muzzle Brake System or matched muzzle weight to reduce felt recoil without shifting point of impact, while the satin blued alloy steel receiver with patented integral scope mounts and included rings gives a rock-solid platform for optics on dangerous-game excursions. The LC6 trigger offers a smooth, crisp break out of the box for confident shot placement at typical African plains distances, and the non-rotating Mauser-type extractor with fixed ejector and hinged solid-steel floorplate allow reliable controlled-round feed, positive ejection and safe, fast unloading when you need it. Ergonomically shaped American walnut stock with wrap-around checkering and ebony forend cap balances the rifle's 8 lb mass for steady shoulders and quick target acquisition aided by the express-style rear "V" notch and white bead front sight; three-position safety, 3+1 capacity, satin blued finish and rugged one-piece stainless bolt round out a rifle designed for hunters demanding durability, repeatable accuracy and straightforward field service from the Ruger Hawkeye African series.
