Ruger American Generation II 250th Anniversary 308 Win 20" 3rd Rifle

This is the limited edition Ruger American Generation II built for America's 250th anniversary, and the receiver carries a commemorative engraving to mark it. The barrel is 20", spiral fluted, threaded 5/8-24 at the muzzle and finished in gun metal gray Cerakote over an alloy steel receiver. It feeds 308 Win from a 3rd AI style magazine, and a Picatinny scope base comes installed in place of iron sights.

The stock is the eye catcher: Liberty Blue with red and white splatter, textured enough to hold a grip without being abrasive. It is also adjustable. Pulling the installed spacer drops length of pull from 13.75" to 12", and the installed low comb helps line the eye up behind a magnified optic but lifts out when low mounted sights are used instead. A soft rubber recoil pad with a large radius at the heel shoulders cleanly and collapses progressively under recoil. At 6.4 lbs, it stays a carrying rifle rather than a bench rifle, and the threaded muzzle leaves room for a brake or a suppressor.
