Ruger 5.7 Pro 5.7x28mm 4.94" 20rd Pistol

The Ruger-5.7 Pro puts the fast, flat shooting 5.7x28mm cartridge in a full size pistol that holds 20 rounds in a double stack steel magazine, and it comes with two of them. The 4.94" alloy steel barrel has a black nitride treatment for wear resistance, and the through hardened billet steel slide has lightening cuts and a black oxide finish. The Pro model has no manual safety.

Ruger's Secure Action fire control system pairs a protected internal hammer with a bladed safety trigger for a short, smooth pull, a clean break and a positive reset. The textured glass filled nylon frame gives a secure grip, the trigger reach is easy, and the magazine release is reversible. Up top, a windage and elevation adjustable rear sight pairs with a fiber optic front for quick sight pictures. The slide is drilled and tapped for a red dot using an optic adapter plate that is sold separately. A Picatinny accessory rail takes a light or laser, an inspection port lets you check the chamber, and takedown needs no tools and no trigger pull. Magazines drop free on release. At 24.5 oz it is light for a full size gun, and the 5.7 cartridge keeps recoil mild for quick follow up shots.
