About this product
The Light Mountain Rifle is Rock River Arms' trim AR-15 for shooters who carry their rifle more than they shoot it. It is chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO with a 16" barrel and a 1:9 twist, and it weighs about 6.2 lbs empty at 32.5" overall.
A synthetic stock keeps weight down, and the RRA winter trigger guard opens up room for a gloved finger on cold mornings. There are no iron sights, so the top rail is free for a light scope or red dot. It comes with an RRA case and one 20 round magazine, a handy setup for hiking into the high country after coyotes or deer where legal.
