Rock River Arms LAR-15 Mid A2 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The LAR-15 Mid A2 is the classic AR-15 layout from Rock River Arms. A forged A2 upper with its fixed carry handle rear sight pairs with an A2 front sight post, so it is ready to shoot without adding an optic. The 16" chrome moly barrel is chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO and runs a mid length gas system, which gives a softer, smoother cycle than a carbine length system on the same barrel. An A2 flash hider finishes the muzzle.

Rock River upgrades the lower over a basic carbine with its own two stage trigger, which breaks cleaner than a standard mil spec unit. A six position collapsible stock adjusts length of pull, and a Hogue rubber grip gives a better hold in wet or cold weather. The receivers have a black anodized finish. It comes with a 30 round magazine. At about 6.6 lbs and 36" long, it is a solid choice for someone who wants a traditional iron sight AR for training, the range or keeping ready at home.
