About this product
The Rossi RB22 Compact is a 22 LR bolt action rifle sized for smaller shooters and for anyone who wants a light, handy rimfire. It pairs a 16.5" free floating, button rifled barrel with a shorter length of pull, a 10 round detachable magazine and an OD green polymer Monte Carlo stock over matte black metal. Unloaded it weighs about 52 ounces, so younger shooters can hold it steady.
The front sight is a fiber optic and the rear sight is fully adjustable, a pairing that picks up fast in the woods and is easy for a new shooter to learn on. The barrel is threaded for a rimfire suppressor or a muzzle device. A crossbolt safety and a straightforward bolt make it a good teaching gun. It is just as useful for squirrels, rabbits and pest control around the barn as it is for an afternoon of tin cans. One magazine comes in the box.
