Rock River Arms LAR-15 RRAGE 3G 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The RRAGE 3G is Rock River Arms' straightforward LAR-15 carbine. It starts with a forged LAR-15 lower and an extruded A4 flat top upper with a port door and no forward assist, which keeps the right side of the receiver clean. The 16" barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO, threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle and capped with an A2 flash hider. The barrel is free floated inside a 15" lightweight aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots, so there is plenty of room for a light, a bipod or a vertical grip without anything touching the barrel.

The rest of the build is simple and proven. An RRA single stage trigger, an RRA six position tactical carbine stock and an A2 grip round out the lower. There are no iron sights, so the flat top upper is open for a red dot, a magnified optic or flip up sights. It comes with one 30 round RRA polymer magazine, a manual and the warranty papers. At about 6.5 lbs empty and 36" long, it handles well on the range, in a truck or by the bedside, and it makes a sensible first AR for a new shooter who wants room to grow.
