Rock Island Armory 1911 XT22 Magnum 22 WMR 5" 14rd Pistol

The XT22 Magnum is a full size steel 1911 built from the start for the 22 Magnum cartridge, not a conversion kit. It holds 14 rounds of 22 WMR in its magazine, and the 5" bull barrel is pinned in place while the slide runs on a delayed blowback system.

You get the controls and feel of a centerfire 1911 with a fraction of the recoil and noise. The sights are low profile and snag free with a fiber optic front, the hammer and trigger are skeletonized, and the trigger has an adjustable overtravel stop. An extended beavertail safety protects the web of your hand, and checkered rubber grips give a secure hold. The black parkerized finish is tough and non reflective. It is a great trainer for 1911 owners who want cheaper practice on the same manual of arms, a fun plinker, and a capable pest or small game pistol. One magazine is included.
