Rock Island Armory 1911 GI Standard CS 45 ACP 3.5" 7rd Pistol

The GI Standard CS takes Rock Island Armory's GI pattern 1911 and cuts it down to a true compact. It is chambered in 45 ACP with a 3.5" barrel and a 7 round magazine in a shortened, officer size steel frame. The finish is black parkerized, the grips are smooth wood, and the low, fixed GI style sights keep the top of the slide clean for drawing from concealment. A beavertail grip safety and a manual thumb safety round out the classic 1911 controls.

The short slide and grip make the CS much easier to hide under a shirt than a 5" Government model, while the all steel build keeps the 45 ACP from feeling snappy. The single action trigger is crisp, and the series 70 style layout means simple maintenance and easy access to parts. If you want a 45 for carry that keeps the old school GI look, or a compact companion to a full size 1911, this one fits. One 7 round magazine is included.
