PTR 91 GIRK 308 Win 16" 20rd Green Rifle

The PTR 91 GIRK is the 16" barrel version of PTR's GIR, the green furniture 91 with a welded top rail. The welded steel Picatinny rail lets you put a modern optic on the rifle without a claw mount, and the traditional iron sights come on the gun for backup. The receiver is Parkerized and the 16" tapered barrel has a 1:10" twist and a muzzle threaded 5/8-24.

Chambered in 308 Win (it also accepts 7.62x51 NATO), it runs the roller delayed blowback action of the original 91 pattern rifles and feeds from a detachable 20rd magazine. It weighs about 9.5 lbs, so recoil from full power 308 stays manageable. Know this before you buy: the green furniture is used and rated NRA Good. That means safe working condition and minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, and no corrosion or pitting that affects function, but expect some dings and blemishes. One original surplus aluminum magazine, rated Good or better, and a trigger cable lock are included. A handy, shorter 91 for shooters who want the classic look plus a solid optic mount.
