About the PTR PDWR 308 Win
The PTR PDWR takes the 51P and swaps the polymer handguard for a milled aluminum M-LOK handguard, so lights, lasers and grips mount directly. Under it sits an 8.5" stress relieved, heavy contour barrel with a 1:10" twist, threaded 5/8-24 with a removable flash hider. A precision welded top rail takes an optic, and the traditional iron sights come on the gun.
The PDWR fires 308 Win and also accepts 7.62x51 NATO, running the roller delayed blowback action the 91 pattern is known for. A paddle style magazine release is standard, and the end cap works with M4 buffer tubes or the included swivel end adapter, so you have options for the rear of the gun. It weighs around 8.1 lbs unloaded, which helps tame a short 308. One 20rd aluminum magazine (original surplus, rated Good or better) and a trigger cable lock are included. The 5/8-24 threads take the common 308 brakes and suppressor mounts.
