Patriot Ordnance Factory LMR Base 6mm CM 22" 20rd Rifle

This is the Base configuration of Patriot Ordnance Factory's LMR, chambered in 6mm Creedmoor with a 22" barrel. The cartridge is the reason to buy it. 6mm Creedmoor pushes light, slippery bullets fast, recoils less than a 308, and lets a shooter watch their own hits land through the scope instead of losing the target under recoil. A 22" barrel gives that cartridge enough room to work without turning the rifle into something nobody wants to carry across a field.

The handguard is M-LOK, so lights, bipods and hand stops attach where they are actually needed instead of where a fixed rail decides to put them, and the finish is black throughout. Feeding comes from a 20 round magazine, which is a lot of 6mm Creedmoor on board before anything needs topping off. M-LOK has become the default attachment standard on rifles like this one, which means the accessories are cheap, everywhere, and do not need an adapter to bolt on. The rifle lands between a hunting gun and a match gun: light enough to move with, long enough in the barrel to stretch out, and plain enough in finish that nothing on it will date badly.
