Patriot Ordnance Factory LMR Base 6mm CM 22" 20rd ODG Rifle

The LMR Base is Patriot Ordnance Factory's stripped down version of their large frame rifle, chambered here in 6mm Creedmoor behind a 22" barrel. Six millimeter Creedmoor earned its place in practical precision shooting by being flat and easy on the shoulder. Bullets leave fast, wind drift stays manageable, and recoil is soft enough that a shooter can watch impacts through the scope instead of losing the target every time the rifle goes off. A 22" barrel is long enough to get the speed the cartridge is capable of without turning the rifle into something awkward to move with.

Base guns keep the parts list honest. This one runs an M-LOK handguard, so lights, bipods, and hand stops mount where they are needed instead of hanging off a full length rail that adds weight everywhere else. The OD Green finish is a departure from standard black. Feeding comes from a 20 round magazine. Patriot Ordnance Factory built its name on semi automatic rifles that keep running when they are dirty and hot, and the Base configuration puts that action in a package that can be upgraded piece by piece over time rather than all at once.
