OA Defense 2311 Compact Plus Kit 9mm 4.25" Pistol

The OA Defense 2311 Compact takes the double stack 1911 layout and shrinks it to a size that actually rides under a shirt. The 4.25 inch stainless barrel sits in a black steel slide over an aluminum frame, and the whole gun is set up ambidextrously so a left handed shooter is not fighting the controls. The slide comes cut for a red dot and is serrated, and the frame carries a Picatinny rail for a light.

What separates the 2311 pattern from a traditional 1911 is grip geometry. The modular grip module holds a wide magazine but keeps the reach to the trigger short, so shooters with average hands can still get proper finger placement on a crisp single stage break. OA tunes the hammer and sear on these guns and it shows in how predictable the trigger is under speed. An extended magazine release and an aluminum magwell round out the carry and competition details. This is the Plus Kit configuration, which bundles additional components with the pistol. Between the metal frame weight and the compact slide, it shoots noticeably flatter than a polymer gun of the same size.
