Mossberg 940 Pro Thunder Ranch 12 GA 18.5" 7rd Shotgun

The 940 Pro Thunder Ranch is a 12 gauge gas operated semi auto set up for home defense and hard range use, with design input from Thunder Ranch founder Clint Smith. It runs an 18.5" barrel with the Accu-Choke system and a Cylinder Bore tube installed, a 3" chamber, and a magazine tube that holds seven shells. Barrel, receiver and furniture are finished in Patriot Brown Cerakote, and the receiver carries Thunder Ranch logo engraving.

The receiver is optic ready with cuts for low profile direct mounting of Shield RMSc pattern micro dots, and a cover plate is included for when no optic is fitted. A fiber optic front sight handles the job until then. Up front, a barrel clamp with M-LOK slots gives a place for a light. The 940 gas system is built to run up to 1,500 rounds between cleanings, with a nickel boron coated piston, magazine tube, hammer and sear. The loading port is enlarged and beveled, the elevator is lengthened, and a quick empty magazine release lets you clear the tube without cycling every round. The stock adjusts for length of pull from 12.5" to 14.25" and shims for drop and cast. QD sling ports are on the stock and forend. Weight is about 7.5 lbs.
