Mossberg 590 Bliksem 12 GA 14.375" 5rd Rhodesian Camo Shotgun

The 590 Bliksem is a collaboration between Mossberg and Christian Craighead's Ministry of Defence brand, produced in limited numbers. The metal wears a Rhodesian brushstroke camo pattern, the receiver is engraved with the Field Ethos Ministry of Defence wolf logo, and the grip is a flat dark earth AfterShock. Up front is a corncob style forend in matching FDE with a leather strap and a debossed Mossberg logo, and an Esstac six round shell carrier card rides on the receiver.

Underneath the dress it is a 590, which means the mechanical parts are the ones Mossberg has been selling to shooters and militaries for decades: dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel to steel lockup, and an ambidextrous tang safety that any thumb can reach. The 14.375" barrel takes 3" shells and the magazine holds five. The AfterShock grip keeps the whole package short and quick to bring up in tight quarters, and the camo work makes this one of the better looking 590s Mossberg has put out. It is a special edition build rather than a catalog 590, and the collaboration details are what carry it.
