Mossberg Maverick 88 Bantam 20 Gauge 22 inch 5+1 Blued Synthetic Right Hand

The Maverick 88 All Purpose Bantam Youth Shotgun 20 ga., a Mossberg-built member of the proven 500 platform family, gives young hunters and first-time shooters a scaled-down, reliable 20-gauge pump-action designed for field and range use; its 22-inch vent rib barrel, blued finish and synthetic black fixed stock deliver a 13-inch length-of-pull and an overall length of 39.75 inches while keeping weight to a manageable 5.25 pounds for easier carry and quicker target acquisition. The Bantam retains rugged pump-action features—dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup and an anti-jam elevator—ensuring dependable cycling through upland hunts, youth sporting clays or introductory shotgun classes, and the Accu-Choke system with a modified tube provides patterning flexibility for close to mid-range shots. With a 5+1 capacity, 3-inch chamber, crossbolt safety, bead front sight and a steel receiver, this right-hand model balances durability and straightforward operation for new shooters and mentorship scenarios; built in the United States, the Maverick 88 Bantam combines Mossberg's proven reliability with youth-oriented ergonomics and simple maintenance for long-term ownership.
