Mossberg Patriot Carbine 308 Win 18" 5rd MultiCam Rifle

The Mossberg Patriot Carbine is a compact, easy handling bolt gun for hunting across several seasons and several kinds of game. This one is chambered in 308 Win with an 18" medium bull barrel threaded 5/8-24, so it is ready for a muzzle brake or a suppressor. A recessed match crown protects the end of the barrel. The drop box magazine holds 5rd, and the top Picatinny rail is already on the gun, so scope mounting is simple.

The synthetic stock is MultiCam and the metal is Patriot Brown, a combination that looks right in the woods and needs no babying. The spiral fluted bolt and oversized handle make for a quick, positive stroke, and Mossberg's patented LBA trigger is user adjustable. There are no iron sights, so plan on an optic. Swivel studs and a recoil pad come standard. At 6.6 lbs with a short barrel, it carries well in a tree stand or on a long walk, and it is an easy rifle to swing through brush. It suits a hunter who wants one 308 for deer and hogs.
