Maxim Defense PDX SCW 7.62x39mm 5.5" 20rd Gray Pistol

The Maxim Defense PDX came out of the SOCOM PDW solicitation, and this one is chambered in 7.62x39mm with a 5.5" barrel and the Urban Gray finish. The HATEBRAKE muzzle booster sits under the handguard to tame recoil and push blast and flash forward, away from the shooter, and Maxim rates the barrel at 2 MOA. Muzzle threads are 5/8-24 for a suppressor or a different device.

At the back is the Maxim SCW pistol brace, a patented 4" system with an integrated bolt carrier and interchangeable buffer weights, so the whole gun stays only 18.75" long without giving up a usable rear contact point. The upper carries an HK height top rail for an optic, and the handguard takes M-LOK accessories. An ALG Combat Trigger, a manual safety and Maxim's ambidextrous control layout round it out, and it feeds from a 20 round magazine. For a compact truck or home gun that hits harder than 5.56 out of a short barrel, the 7.62x39mm PDX is a compact package worth a look.
