Magnum Research Desert Eagle L6 44 Mag 6" 8rd Two-Tone Pistol

The Desert Eagle Mark XIX L6 is the lighter weight take on Magnum Research's big gas operated magnum. This one is chambered in 44 Mag with a 6" barrel and an 8 round magazine. A hard coat anodized black aluminum frame replaces the usual steel frame, and the slide and barrel are stainless steel with an integral muzzle brake, for a two tone look.

The aluminum frame and weight cutting trim the L6 by about 10 ounces against comparable Desert Eagles, which you feel the moment you pick it up. The muzzle brake vents gas to help hold the muzzle down. The trigger is single action, the sights are fixed combat type, and Hogue finger groove rubber grips fill the hand. There is a Picatinny style optics rail on top of the barrel for single slot mounts and a Picatinny accessory rail on the frame for a light or laser. Ambidextrous safeties are standard, and the L6 uses the same magazines as the steel framed models. One magazine is included. For hunting with a handgun or a long day at the range, the L6 gives you full 44 Mag performance in a Desert Eagle that is easier to carry and hold steady.
