Hornady LEVERevolution 44 Mag 225gr FTX 20rd Box

LEVERevolution put a pointed bullet in lever guns without the old worry about tube magazine detonation. The 225gr FTX has a soft elastomer Flex Tip, so it is safe in tubular magazines and still gives a better ballistic coefficient than a flat point. Hornady does advise against storing these rounds in a tube for long periods, since that can deform the tips.

At a listed 1,410 fps and 993 ft-lbs, this 44 Mag load runs up to 250 fps faster than conventional lever gun loads with up to 40% more energy. It works in 44 Mag lever rifles and revolvers alike, a good fit for deer and hogs inside typical woods ranges.
