Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 44 Mag 5" 8rd Chrome Pistol

This Desert Eagle Mark XIX L5 combines an aluminum frame in black hard coat anodizing with a brushed chrome slide and barrel. It is chambered in 44 Mag, holds 8 rounds in the magazine and has a 5" fluted barrel with Magnum Research's integral muzzle brake.

The L5 is the compact, lightweight Desert Eagle: the alloy frame and weight cuts bring it to roughly 49 ounces, close to a pound and a half lighter than the steel 6" guns. The brake helps keep the muzzle flat when firing full power 44 Mag loads, and the gas operated, rotating bolt action soaks up a good share of the recoil on its own. Controls include a single action trigger and ambidextrous safeties, with fixed combat sights and Hogue finger groove rubber grips. A Picatinny style rail on top of the barrel takes single slot optic mounts. Magazines are shared with the steel framed 44 Mag models, and the L5 models are listed as New York State compliant. The bright chrome upper over a black frame is a classic Desert Eagle look, and the shorter barrel makes it the easiest 44 Mag Desert Eagle to carry in the field.
