Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 357 Mag 5" 9rd Chrome Pistol

The Desert Eagle L5 is the lighter, shorter Desert Eagle. This one is in 357 Magnum with a 5 inch barrel, an integral muzzle brake and a 9 round magazine. The slide is brushed chrome carbon steel over a black hard coat anodized aluminum frame, which trims weight compared to the steel frame Desert Eagles and makes a noticeable difference when you handle it.

The barrel carries a full Picatinny style accessory rail from the end of the chamber to just behind the front sight, so an optic mounts right on top of the barrel. The muzzle brake built into the barrel helps keep the muzzle down. Ambidextrous safeties are standard, the trigger is single action, and the Hogue finger groove rubber grip wraps the frame for a secure hold. It is part of the Mark XIX family, so it is as much a statement piece as a range gun. If you have always wanted a Desert Eagle, the L5 in 357 Mag is the easiest one to live with.
