Langdon Tactical Beretta 92 Elite 9mm 4.7" 18rd Pistol

Ernest Langdon spent a career shooting Berettas at a level most shooters never reach, then started building the guns he wanted. Langdon Tactical takes the Beretta 92, a service pistol that has been in front line duty use since the 1980s, and reworks it for people who shoot it seriously. The 92 has always had things going for it that newer designs gave up: an open top slide that gives a spent case nowhere to hang up, a locking block action that stays accurate for tens of thousands of rounds, and a grip shape that points naturally for most hands.

This 92 Elite is built on a full size aluminum frame with a Picatinny rail up front for a light and textured grip panels for purchase in the wet. The barrel is stainless steel at 4.7", and the slide is cut for a red dot and serrated so you can run it under pressure. Magazine capacity is 18 rounds of 9mm. DA/SA operation means a long deliberate first press followed by short single action shots after, which is a trade most shooters make gladly once they have put in the reps to master that first round.
