Knight's Armament SR-15 E3 Mod 2 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The Knight's Armament SR-15 E3 Mod 2 is KAC's 16" 5.56 NATO rifle. The chrome lined, hammer forged barrel is free floated inside a URX 4 M-LOK handguard, so gear on the rail never touches the barrel. It runs KAC's improved E3 round lug bolt, which was designed to improve function and push bolt life well past the industry norm. The rifle takes 30rd magazines and weighs 6.55 lbs.

The bolt release, selector lever and magazine release are all ambidextrous, so left handed shooters get the same AR15 style controls right handers use. The drop in two stage match trigger works for careful precision shots and still allows fast shooting up close. Up front, the 5.56mm three prong flash eliminator cuts muzzle flash, will not ring when fired or struck, and works with KAC's 5.56mm QDC signature reduction devices. Folding front and 200 to 600 meter rear micro iron sights come standard, and the receiver end plate has ambidextrous QD sling sockets. Twist is 1:7, the receiver is aluminum, and overall length runs 33.5" to 36.5" with the six position stock.
