Kimber Mountain Ascent Mojave 280 AI 24" 4rd Rifle

The Kimber Mountain Ascent Mojave carries the Mountain Ascent action into a drizzle painted H-S Precision stock built from fiberglass, carbon fiber and Kevlar. An aluminum bedding block runs nearly the full length of the stock, giving the action a solid foundation in a lightweight package of about 6.1 lbs. This one is chambered in 280 Ackley Improved with a 24" stainless match grade barrel, and Kimber backs the Mountain Ascent line with its sub MOA accuracy guarantee.

The bolt body is fluted and the bolt knob is hollow to save weight. It is a front locking repeater with a Mauser style claw extractor and a three position Model 70 type safety, feeding from a four round internal magazine. The trigger is adjustable. The muzzle is threaded 7/16-28 and comes with a 5/8-24 thread adapter for mounting a suppressor or brake. A 1" recoil pad, 13.5" length of pull and a rear bag cutout round it out. It is a rifle for hunters who climb for their game and want to shoot far once they get there.
