About this product
The Kimber Aegis Elite Pro is a 9mm 1911 in Kimber's Pro size, with a 4 inch barrel on a full grip frame. That pairing makes it easier to carry than a 5 inch gun without giving up a full firing grip. The Aegis Elite line uses a round heel frame, finished in silver KimPro II with two-tone styling, and G10 grips in Kimber's Cyclone pattern.
The slide carries Kimber's AEX pattern serrations, which give you plenty to grab during reloads and press checks. Fiber optic sights pick up fast in daylight, and the single action 1911 trigger gives the short, crisp press the platform is known for. Capacity is 9 rounds of 9mm in a single stack magazine. The mild recoil of 9mm in a 1911 makes this an easy pistol to shoot well, and the 4 inch length keeps it practical to carry concealed. It works as a carry gun and as a home defense pistol, and it is just as much fun on the range, where the round heel and textured grips help keep your hand in the same place shot after shot.
