Kent Southern Reserve Dove Load 12 GA 2.75" 1-1/8oz #7.5 25rd Box

Southern Reserve is Kent's dove shell, and the 12 gauge version is about as conventional as a field load gets: a 2.75" hull, 1-1/8oz of lead shot, #7.5 pellets, 25rd to the box. That payload and pellet size is the long standing combination for dove work.

#7.5 is small shot, so the pattern is dense - useful on a bird that is small, fast and rarely where you thought it was. The same shell works fine on a clay field between seasons, since a dove load and a target load are close cousins. Any 12 gauge chambered for 2.75" or longer will run it.
