Kent Ultimate Pheasant 12 GA 1-3/8oz #4/#6 Shot

Kent's Ultimate Pheasant load carries 1-3/8 ounces of lead shot in a blend of #4 and #6. Two pellet sizes in the same hull: the #6 pellets fill out the pattern, the #4 pellets carry more weight per pellet at the far end of the shot.

Blended upland loads exist because one shot size is always a compromise between pattern density and pellet weight, and a duplex splits the difference instead of picking a side. Kent loads this one in 12 gauge with a heavy 1-3/8 ounce payload behind the blend.
