IWI Zion Z-15 5.56 NATO 12.5" 30rd SBR

The IWI Zion Z-15 SBR puts a 12.5" barrel on IWI US's no nonsense AR-15. It was the first M4 style rifle from IWI US, it is chambered in 5.56 NATO, and it runs a direct impingement gas system. It comes with one 30 round Magpul PMAG. As a short barrel rifle, it is an NFA item.

The barrel is chrome moly vanadium steel with a heavy profile and a nitride treatment for durability and accuracy. An 11.5" free float M-LOK handguard covers it, so lights, lasers and grips mount without touching the barrel. B5 Systems supplies the adjustable stock and the pistol grip, so the furniture is good out of the box and there is nothing to swap before your first range trip. Overall length runs 29.5" with the stock collapsed and 32.75" extended, and the rifle weighs about 6.5 lbs. A compact carbine like this makes sense for home defense, vehicle carry and suppressor work, where every inch of length counts and a full 16" barrel gets in the way.
